Privacy Policy

Photofinch turns a photo you choose into a painting. We collect as little as possible to do that, and we don’t sell your data or use third-party advertising trackers. This policy explains what we handle and why.
What we process
- The photo you submit. When you create a painting, your photo is sent to our backend and to our AI image provider (Google Gemini) to generate the artwork. We do not use your photos to train models. Source photos are not retained after your painting is generated; the finished painting is kept so it can appear in your in-app gallery.
- Your paintings. Stored so we can show your gallery and, if you order a print, produce the high-resolution version.
- Order & shipping details. If you order a physical print or canvas, the name and shipping address you enter are shared with our print and fulfillment partner (Gelato) solely to produce and deliver your order.
- Purchases. Subscriptions and credit packs are processed by Apple. Physical-print payments are processed by Stripe and/or Apple Pay. We never see or store your full card number.
- A device identifier. Photofinch works without an account using an anonymous device identifier so your credits and gallery stay with you.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the app: Google Gemini (image generation), Apple and Stripe (payments), Gelato (print fulfillment), and our hosting provider. Each receives only what it needs for its task. We do not sell personal data and we use no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Your choices
You can delete any painting from your in-app gallery at any time. To request deletion of your data, email team@photofinch.com.
